  • Weight Gain: Chips are high in fat and calories, with extremely low nutrition levels. These potatoes are heavily fried in oil that educes the general vegetable benefits and leaves them nutrition less and saturated. 
  • Low Nutrition: Chips are typically low in vitamins and minerals, and they tend to displace things in your diet that are higher in nutrients. Snacks should be mini boosts throughout the day to compliment your healthy lifestyle, not binges of fat filled substances. 
  • High Cholesterol: The sodium content in chips can seriously negatively impact your cardiovascular health! High levels of sodium commonly in chips can increase blood pressure leaving to serious heart consequences like heart attacks 


We know it can be hard to totally give up a food you love to munch on, so what if we told you that you could make your own healthy version? Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is all about swapping ingredients simply, not totally cutting things out (limitation is how diets fail!). 

That's why were giving you our favorite recipe to make some delicious chips with just potatoes, pink salt and olive oil! It's as easy as that! 

Healthy Potato Chips

With just 3 ingredients, whip up this delicious healthy snack!


Olive Oil

Pink Salt

Preheat your oven to 425. Thinly slice potatoes and place on oiled baking sheet. We used both white and purple potatoes!

Place baking sheet in oven for around 30-35 minutes.

Take potato chips out of oven and allow to cool.

 Toss in olive oil, pink salt, and pepper - ENJOY!

All of your family members will love it and it's a great way to take a usual unhealthy snack and make it so beneficial and good for your health!
